I used to have pie and mash at robins in east ham high street,not sure if its still there,the place has changed so much,you`d think your in another country!! i now eat it in leyton when i visit my husbands nan or the food court at lakeside shopping center.

I love Pie & Mash, always have done, always will.
Is there any chance of re-opening a shop in my local town of Barking in Essex?, because since the shop in town closed locals have had to travel further afield to places like Ilford, Romford and even Wanstead.
Not only is it inconvenient for the locals who wish to take some home and get it back before it goes cold, its also inconvenient for the older generation to travel so far as well.

Finally after 31 years of visiting England I finally had pie and mash today, went to qpr store to pick up goodies for my hubby when my eastend friend took me to Cockney's Pie and Marsh....thanks Annie, it was a little bit of heaven. Yum yum!!!! :D

As a pie-addict from the north (and now a pie-maker in Spain), this is all a bit mysterious to me, especially the liquor. And P & M shops only sell mince pies? I'll be in London over Christmas - will definitely check out a few shops.
