My niece just posted on FB that she spotted a new P&M with eels in Clapham Junction - which led me to here when I googled P&M. :)

As a pie-addict from the north (and now a pie-maker in Spain), this is all a bit mysterious to me, especially the liquor. And P & M shops only sell mince pies? I'll be in London over Christmas - will definitely check out a few shops.

I was lucky enough to get to Harringtons in Tooting on Friday 23rd September - and its still as wonderful as I remember. I was gutted when the pie and mash shop in Brixton was closed down, as this was my regular Saturday treat growing up.

The only Roman Church left where l was Christened is always an eye opener, then to top it off a visit to the best place up TOWN - ARMENTS. What more could a girl ask for hahaha!! :D

I was brought up slap bang opposite Cooke's in Broadway Market and was a regular visitor from an early age... Haven't been back for over 10 years, but have since become a huge fan of Manze's in Tower Bridge Road... Best pie & mash I've ever tasted! :p
